काला Coat..!!!

This black coat/blazer belongs to me however represents many fields such as while advocating (Lawyer), Station master/TC (Ticket collector/ checker) and me being from hotel industry frequently supervising or on management level.

Well; Would love to share some funny yet rewarding incidents about this काला coat..!!!

It was 2018 in Nagpur; While i was working on my Food Truck... project and used to visit collector office (beside district and session court), RTO, municipal corporation, SBI etc in regards to presentations-documentation-meetings to get the ammendment passed as it was a pioneer project for everyone one of us.

Sometimes I could find a place to park my vehicle in office premises but not everytime; It has to be in the paid parking. Whenever I used to visit donning this काला coat; The parking supervisor or staff (third party vendor) were making an exception for me by saying; अरे! जाने दे Sir को; staff हैं..!!! A Lawyer they meant.

Initially it was shocking for me; Later on i started overlooking it due to scheduled meetings restrictions. To be very frank; i never broke their misconceptions about it however also paid whenever had change with me (₹ 5/-/10/-). They always refuse to accept; maybe i was trying to break the so called custom about policemen and lawyers that "इनसे कौन पैसे लेगा; साले कहीं न कहीं फंसा देंगे..!!! maybe as per the experience they had till date ( Mine is totally different ! specially with policemen; Will share it in a post later with a different title of course) even though am neither of those.

Anyways; Let's move to another story or the experience to share. I was on my way back to Nagpur from Rajnandgaon (chhatisgarh); Visited for an interview in Indian Broiler Group as they were looking for general manager in their proposed property (Didn't work out though).

It was late night journey and I was really tired and wanted to grab my berth and go to sleep ASAP; After hanging my काला coat to the given hook; Arranged my bedding with provided linen and was ready to sleep. As I was about to; A passenger came to me and asks " Sir AC का आप ही देख रहे हो क्या..??? Shocked however realised and simply said "NO..!!! He walked away with a strange look. After sometime a family boarded and repeated the same " Sir RAC हैं; Confirm करवा दो please" You are asking a wrong person i replied.

Told him to search for the TC and ask the same. They were surprised..!!! me: "मैं छुट्टी पर हूं; Just to cut the conversation..😜

After an hour or so when I was in deep sleep; A random person woke me up " Sir ओ sir; Waiting है confirm हो जाएगा..??? ( Now it was really getting into my nerves) And i harshly said "am off duty..!!!

"Sorry sir; मुझे लगा आप सो रहे हो (On duty he meant)

हां; कोशिश तो यही है (i murmured) "Sorry sir sorry" and he left.

Hssshhh..!!! After failing on my multiple trials to sleep reached Nagpur after an hour or so after that. And as soon as I got down after donning the काला coat again; A small crowd seen approaching me. "Duty ख़त्म..!!! I said; from a shouting distance and rushed towards the exit gate.

Hahaha as they say; "जैसा देश वैसा भेष...

and in my case i not only get into those shoes but also it fitted me perfectly. Believe it was only because of this काला coat and the way i carry myself... And as the matter of fact. I never availed or benefitted by their misunderstandings and will not dare to any which ways.
